2003 Yamaha Blaster cruisin The Track… now with a clutch!

Sunday, 16. May 2010

New clutch parts because the old parts wasnt releasing the clutch at all. Turned out that between the 2 push rods, the ball bearing was missing. It also turned out that that ball bearing, was sitting on the bottem of the transmission never used. The guy before must of put a new clutch in it and that piece must have fallen putting it in. The carberator is still off, I know. The idle is way to fuckin high. I have no idea how to adjust it back down. I also havent made any changes on it, my uncle knows about carbs and does the adjustments. Its kind of weird, itll over rev and stay the powerband and even of I turn the killswitch off, it will keep going. Must be something wrong with something else than a carb. Any ideas? I will have a more detailed explaination during the next video.

my blaster used to get seem like it was stuck high rpms and wouldnt shut off even by the kill switch. turned out that my crank seals went and let air leak in causing it to do that. replaced those and made shure that my iol for the tranny was filled

There is no lever on the Yamahas. and it is over revving at idle, trust me… its worse now.

if you dont know how to adjust the idle or choke, if you look on either the righ or left side of the quad, you will see a little lever if it is up, push it down. if it is down push it up. also the reason i over revs is probably because it is a twostroke. it makes it sound like it over reving but its not.
