Question by Lorie S: Vitamins for low-toned carb?
I’m not taking vitamins at this time, however, I realize with my low carb lifestyle I should. I get extreme leg cramps. I’m wondering though should I get a vitamin with less iron than most due to the great amound of protein (including fish) I eat. I purchased some “womens vitamins” and then gave them away because they had extra iron. Too much iron is not good right?

Yes, too much iron isn’t good, but the leg cramps are from a lack of magnesium in your diet. It is need for normal muscle function along with other things. To find out the best supplements on the market go to Amazon and order a copy of Lyle MacWilliams Guide to nutritional supplements. It tells you how most over the counter supplements perform in real tests.
